Born in the foothills of the Himalayas, I sought answers to the questions of life and existence in our snow-covered fields. My desire to understand the world led me to do research, but the writer in me always yearned to sing the beauty of science. I realised my superpower of making science accessible to all, took the leap of faith and joined the UC Santa Cruz Science Communication program. 

 

​Now I'm a scientist turned science journalist who has hosted podcasts on scientific literacy, written on combating misinformation, and developed multimedia skills —all to find empowerment in educating others.

 

I live by the belief that science knows no boundaries and strive to uphold that every day.
